Parikshit Sharma (Parik)
Parik trained himself as a Tabla exponent, and has mastered the rhythm and percussion segment of orchestration.
He started life as his father, Kishore Sharma’s assistant, and launched his career as an independent orchestrator in 1997. He is much sought after as a successful integrator of ethnic and western percussion and rhythmic features.
Parik has arranged and programmed the rhythm sections for leading music directors like Anu Malik, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Aadesh Shrivastav, Vishal-Shekhar, Lalit Pandit, and Ram Sampat, and for films like Jhankar Beats, Shakti, Mission Kashmir, Shool, Khaki, Woodstock Villa, Murder, Deewanapan, and Devdas.
Together, Tubby and Parik have provided :

the background scores for two feature films - Calcutta Mail and Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai;
* produced albums like Shankar Mahadevan’s "Breathless";
* Shubha Mudgal’s Manke Manjeerey;
* a forthcoming release by Ganesh Hegde;
*
and worked as music directors for “42Kms”, a film releasing in March 2009.
