
Indrajit Sharma (Tubby)
Tubby trained himself as a pianist, and is amongst the finest keyboard artists in the industry.
He began life in 1991 as a keyboard artist with Lakshmikant-Pyarelal, and launched himself in independent practice in 1997. He is in great demand as a composer of background scores and string sections and respected for his lavish orchestration of melody and harmony.
Tubby has co-arranged background scores for almost all top directors in Bollywood – Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Aamir Khan, Subhash Ghai, and Ramgopal Verma. As an orchestrator and music producer, he enjoys the confidence of pioneering melody-makers like Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Anu Malik, and Salim-Sulaiman.
Together, Tubby and Parik have provided :

the background scores for two feature films - Calcutta Mail and Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai;
* produced albums like Shankar Mahadevan’s "Breathless";

and Shubha Mudgal’s Manke Manjeerey,
* a forthcoming release by Ganesh Hegde,

and worked as music directors for “42 Kms”, a film due for release in 2009. |
